Mij’s Thoughts on His Former Crew.
Jaereth Kaine:
Mij and Jaereth were like oil and water when it came to leadership. Mij constantly chafed under Jaereth’s command, and their disagreements over plans and strategy often led to heated exchanges. When Mij felt Jaereth’s ideas were doomed to fail, he wouldn’t hesitate to go rogue and improvise—a tendency that caused more than a few headaches for the crew. Beneath the tension, though, Mij acknowledged Jaereth’s authority and begrudgingly respected his decisiveness. What stung more, however, was Jaereth’s relationship with Suzy. Seeing the woman Mij secretly admired in Jaereth’s arms only added fuel to their friction.
Suzy Kis:
Though he’d never admit it outright, Mij harbored a not-so-secret infatuation with Suzy. Her fiery spirit, mastery of martial arts, and unwavering loyalty to Jaereth captivated him. Whenever Jaereth wasn’t around, Mij would flirt shamelessly, only to be met with Suzy’s playful but firm rejections. Despite the brush-offs, Suzy seemed to enjoy his antics in a lighthearted way, finding his affection harmless and amusing. While Mij wished for more, he respected her devotion to Jaereth, even if it left him nursing a bruised ego.
Kresh:
To Mij, Kresh wasn’t just a crewmate—he was a best friend, even if Kresh didn’t exactly see it the same way. Mij admired the Trandoshan’s no-nonsense approach to a job and shared a surprising camaraderie with him. They often found common ground in plans that Suzy and Jaereth didn’t agree with, and nothing beat celebrating a successful mission with drinks and debauchery alongside Kresh. Mij also held a deep fascination for Kresh’s mastery of weaponry. As a blaster modder himself, Mij was constantly inspired by Kresh’s arsenal, eager to learn from his expertise. In Kresh, Mij saw a partner in chaos and a comrade in arms, even if the bond was a little one-sided.
